Sections - Airpark

These sites are designed to appeal to aviators as many enable pilot / home owners to taxi on to their own land and create a hangar within their home if desired.

The airfield is currently in grass and 1400m long. Plans for a sealed strip and commercial services are being investigated.

Marlin Waters Retirement Village

Retirement village living should not mean an end to boating, in fact it should provide more time for such activities. Whitianga Waterways has just received resource consent for a new 61 unit lifestyle village. A secure gated community for those aged 55 plus is long over due in the area. Marlin Waters retirement village will bring to the market a range of dwellings in a canal front setting that is totally unique to NZ. All units will have access to a boat ramp, so residents can quite literally be ‘First to the fishing, seconds to the beach’. Dry Stack boat storage - A large dry stack building catering for craft up to 10 metres in length is planned for construction in the near future.

This pedestrian (friendly) only island will be free of motor vehicles.  Large and small boats access will be (encouraged) available via the canal network.
